filters
I am starting to put up eyes-only posts.  If you're reading this and would like to be considered for access to one or more of my friends filters, throw a comment below.

Caveat: If I don't add you, it's not a judgment; I'm just a lot more cautious about what I say to whom these days, and prefer to err on the side of safety with people I don't know well.  If I come to know you better, I may change my mind.  :)

For what it's worth, you just unfriended me, perhaps because you didn't remember me / don't recognize my LJ name. But about 7-8 years ago we had several long talks about things going on with me; you gave me some very useful advice, and we had breakfast and a Sam's club adventure one morning in Seattle. I'd very much like to hear what's new in your life after such a big gap, so I hope you'll consider re-adding me.

i know who you are. :) i unfriended some people temporarily until i figured out the custom friend group / filter thing, but fixed that this morning. according to my view of lj, you've been reciprocally friended since then. not the case?

Yup, the case. I am just slightly unobservant. And apparently LJ sees fit to text me when someone unfriends me, but not when someone friends me. So I got the unfriending, then saw this post, and replied without checking first. Appy-polly-logies. :)
